Morning Glory

This morning I woke to a cloudy morning. Thinking it might be a good sunrise , I took a short walk to the dugout. Nice to get out and take some photos in the morning and be back before coffee is done.

The last week or two have been filled with parties and summer socializing. This is Em and a couple of party friends at her sixth Birthday.

A new angle

I just came back from our provinces capital , where I went to see the Andy Warhol exhibit that was on display . Two exciting days with views I seldom experience. My senses overflowed for most of that time. This is the outside of the Art Gallery of Alberta... view from the fourth floor patio. I would have loved to spent some time just taking photos of the interesting buildings and the rhythm of city life.

Owl Love it.

Yesterday I went to see a friend in Beaverlodge. Beaverlodge is home to a very nice little quilting shop. When I saw this cute owl print I knew I was going to have to make something with it. So I dug out my sewing machine and all the bits. It takes longer to take it out and put it away than it does to sew something. Maybe I can make another before I have to put it away.

One Island Lake

Two days at the lake made my heart happy. Not my lake but One Island Lake is a nice little out of the way spot great for fishing.
