A new pair every night.

I like to go to bed and read for awhile before I fall asleep. For the last few nights my husband has been coming to bed and removing my glasses while I sleep. I find them in the morning on the window sill. Somehow this seems like the sweetest lil act of love.

Coming Out Of The Fog

The last week has been foggy, overcast, cold and grey. That made the sun sparkling on the frosty trees so much prettier.

Painting With Light

Do you remember when you were a kid, and you would use a flashlight in the dark to make circles of light. That is how this photo is taken. I did it with long exposure and a flashlight. I cant wait to try this with the Grandchildren and different coloured flashlights.

Mystery adds special effects

Lately I have been feeling like I am looking at the same old thing day after day. I guess I am getting bored with winter. Normally a picture of the sun through the fog would have been enough , but it seems my artist soul is never quite satisfied. And having a few effects at my disposal I decided to make this scene a little more interesting. So here is my version .. it reminds me of a something Vincent might have done .

More sisterly love

Looking at these pictures taken Dec. 31 09, I get a bittersweet tug at my heart. It seems like such a short time ago , that Taylor was my lil Taterbug hanging off my neck.

New Year's Eve.

These lovely ladies are my grand daughters, Emily and Taylor. It was so easy to see how much love there is between these two sisters. It inspired me to make this scrapbook page.
