Ahhh another wonderful sunset taken close to 11 pm. Last night I walked a mile to get a good shot of the pending splendor ... I took this photo on my way home about 300 yards from my house. Oh well the exercise wont hurt me. One of the things that is said about people who live in this neck of the woods is, that summer is here for such a short time, that we wring every bit of it out and drink it in. I think this is true . Seems like by the time fall comes we are exhausted from early mornings and late nights and loving it all.

Summer skies
Ahhh another wonderful sunset taken close to 11 pm. Last night I walked a mile to get a good shot of the pending splendor ... I took this photo on my way home about 300 yards from my house. I seriously think having sunsets like that would make the short summers worth it.
