The tulips that I planted last year are now beginning to bloom. The last few days I have noticed that this spider is living inside a tulip. Yesterday I watched as she took a fly inside to enjoy later. (Pat even the animals have to bring in the groceries) She is unlike any spider I have seen before and she is so perfectly matched to live in a this tulip that I wonder if she came with the bulbs.
The last few days have been busy for me and I have not taken time to take photos. This morning however the beautiful green glow in the trees beckoned to me. I know I am going to have to find some balance with the volunteer work on the castle , and my photography. Even though the castle design and execution feeds my creative side also, I miss how photography gives me a sense of peace and well being.
As I was coming home from town tonight, I knew the sun would be at a perfect spot to capture this old barn in a glowing light. As I was happily snapping I noticed two tractors working in the field. This was taken at 930 pm and I know that they will not quit until they are done. When it's time to work ..no one works harder than farmers.
Mother nature has been playing some awful trick and waking me up at 530 every morning.. hot sweaty.. and cranky. But I wonder if she is trying to tell me not to miss out on one of her most beautiful shows.
