The party dresses are simply beautiful, gold and glittery. But as far as Reese was concerned that was not the best part. HIding from me so that she could give me the Tadaaa! moment, I heard her say about her shoes...." get ready for the magic!". Oh the joy of a new pair of shoes. P.S. those big red balls sure came in handy.
I used to get two new pair of "Sunday" shoes every year...one pair for Christmas and one pair for Easter. Usually Mary Janes, but the occasional t-strap. The best pair was the pair where the strap could be rotatoed so it went behind the heel and I could have a pair of FLATS!! I remember that day so well :) thanks for the memories (however, never did I get a pair as nice as Reese's)
